Introducing Par 4 the Pool: Our First Annual Charity Golf Tournament ⛳

This August, we are teeing off something new. Par 4 the Pool is SFCC’s first annual charity golf tournament, and it is happening on August 10, 2026 at Tolt Golf Club in Carnation.

Why golf? Because it works. A golf tournament gives neighbors, local businesses, and community members an easy, fun reason to gather around something bigger than themselves. It is a day on the course, but it is also a room full of people who believe the Lower Snoqualmie Valley deserves a public aquatic and recreation center of its own. Golf gets people in the door. What they build once they are there is the real point.

Every dollar raised goes toward building that center: a public aquatic, recreation, and community space here in the valley, serving Duvall, Carnation, Redmond Ridge, East Woodinville, and the surrounding communities. This region is home to roughly 15,000 residents and has never had a public pool. Families drive 20 to 30 minutes for swim lessons. This tournament is one more step toward changing that.

📅 The details

Par 4 the Pool takes place Monday, August 10, 2026 at Tolt Golf Club (formerly Blue Heron Golf Course) in Carnation, WA. Registration begins at 10am with a DJ, and a covered driving range. Tournament begins at noon. The day includes coffee, boxed lunch, shotgun start, a buffet dinner, and both silent and live auctions, with the field capped at 120 players. Whether you are pulling together a foursome or coming solo and getting paired up, there is a spot on the course for you.

Registration is open now through GolfStatus: tinyurl.com/par4thepool

🎤 A hometown headliner

We are thrilled to announce that Wanz will be performing live at Par 4 the Pool. If the name does not ring a bell right away, his voice will: Wanz is the Seattle-based singer behind the booming hook on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s Grammy-winning “Thrift Shop,” and he has performed on Saturday Night Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He still calls the Pacific Northwest home, and having him on the mic for our first tournament is a real gift to this event.

Wanz is not the only name we are excited about. We are in conversations with a few legacy Seahawks and Mariners players about joining us on August 10 as well. Stay tuned for those announcements as they come together. 🏈⚾

🙌 Sponsors make this possible

A tournament like this does not run on green fees alone. Local businesses are the reason this event can put real dollars toward the center, and we already have some great ones on board:

We are also grateful to our in-kind partners:

There is still plenty of room to join them. Sponsorship levels range from Social Sponsor at $250 up through Presenting Sponsor at $10,000, with Eagle, Pin Flag, Cart, Awards, and Driving Range levels still available in between. Every level comes with real visibility: your name in front of golfers, sponsors, and the community members following along.
