Our Inclusion Commitment

Everyone Belongs Here

At the Snoqualmie Foothills Community Collaborative, we believe that access, opportunity, and wellbeing should not be determined by race, income, age, ability, gender identity, immigration status, or background.

That belief shapes every decision we make — from facility design to programming to how we show up for our neighbors. We know that building a truly inclusive space takes ongoing work, honest listening, and a willingness to learn. We’re committed to that process.

Our Core Principles

Equity-Centered Approach

We recognize that different community members face different barriers to accessing aquatics, recreation, and safe gathering spaces. Our goal is to address those barriers directly — not just at the front door, but throughout how our facility is built, priced, located, and run. We won’t get everything right immediately, but removing barriers is a design requirement, not an afterthought.

Universal Design

Our facility is being designed with accessibility as a core requirement, not a retrofit. Our design and planning priorities will evolve as we listen, learn, and grow.

Welcoming Policies

A welcoming environment doesn’t happen by default — it requires clear policies, trained staff, and a culture that people can actually feel. We are building those foundations now.
